CNN’s story about the recent finding of a new video shot just moments before the JFK assassination is a sorry excuse for “news.” What should have been news a long time ago in this History Channel documentary that fingers LBJ as a principle conspirator in JFK’s assassination.

What else should be news? How about the fact that this documentary never aired on the History Channel because of pressure from our own government. Watch this video. Why is our major media ignoring this information and sticking to the Lee Harvey Oswald myth?

And the award goes to… Nico Van Hoorn’s trashlog. Nico got the bright idea to photograph a piece of trash every day and post it to his blog. Nico takes a half hour daily walk to find his stinky, crumpled subjects strewn about the streets of the Netherlands.

All we are left to ask is “Why Nico, why?”

I love stumbling upon a video that shows something you have never seen nor imagined before. This crazy modular chair video does the trick for me. How did this guy ever think to do that? I’ll bet he was inspired by the slinky!

I was just Stumbling through blogs and came upon a real gem.  The Davezilla blog is a hoot.  My favorite posts so far are fun with pictures and anatomy of a Michigan Yeti.  My hats off to Dave for making me (and surely many others) laugh out loud at my computer screen.

MIAMI - Anna Nicole Smith collapsed and died today of an apparent drug overdose at the Hard Rock Seminole Hotel and Casino. Paramedics were rushed to the scene and started cpr immediately.

“I kept pumping and pumping her chest,” said paramedic Danny Glenn, “and then I pumped that chest of hers some more. And then I put my mouth on her mouth while I repeatedly pumped away at her chest.”

But Anna was never again to regain consciousness. Hard Rock officials later held a press conference.

“What happened here today was a tragedy for our hotel and for this country,” said Keith Hatchskins, Director of Public Relations for Hard Rock hotels. “Anna was just so very hot. I was just commenting with some of the staff yesterday about what an incredibly hot, unnaturally tan body she had.”

Smith leaves behind an infant daughter, Dannielynn, five months old. Funeral arrangements are not yet set.

Many viral internet ideas give me that “Why didn’t I think of that?!” feeling. This is not one of them. Young Luke Johnson posted this video to Youtube asking anyone who sees it to call his cell phone and pass the video along to others.

The internet gods gladly granted his wish and Luke’s video has been viewed almost a quarter of a million times. What do you want to bet that he changed his cell phone number?
